The precise cut is the action explored in aim to construct. To construct a new space that can be filled with light, that creates drawings and images inside the stones and also, that by itself, allows me I cross it in aim to bond different pieces. The Handmade piece "Pruning" in stone (serpentine) nylon thread and silver presented at "Gioielli in Fermento Master Collection" exhibition is a metaphor to that practice. Cut to grow. The pruning is characterized by precise cuts as the ones created on the stones. In the meeting points of two holes inner tubes are created, through which the pieces can be connected. The nylon, after crossing those holes, is transformed. It twists as a serpentine just like the stone name and some vine branches movements.

Metáfora à poda, prática que permite à videira crescer com vigor. Ela é caracterizada por cortes precisos como os criados nas pedras. Os cortes que realizei mantém um triz de superfície de pedra: como efeito as pedras ganham jogo de cor e linhas de desenho, ora escuras ora claras, conforme a face observada. É também no encontro dos cortes que crio tubos internos através dos quais as peças são conectadas. O nylon, depois de atravessar esses buracos, gira como uma serpentina. Transformação que repete o nome de pedra e o movimento dos ramos de videira.
